The first type-approved method on the market

When it was introduced in the beginning of the nineties, the DaKKI method represented a technology change that many people had difficulties to accept. It was not enough that we ourselves were convinced that the method contained considerable advantages for our customers, but we wanted to create evidence and documentation that this was the case. It was therefore decided to type-approve the method according to the rules set by the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning.

In September 2003 the method was type-approved after a series of tests and samples and represents today the only type-approved method to renovate pipes on the Swedish market. Through the type-approval we also receive a continuous quality audit that is carried out yearly by SP (Swedish National Testing and Research Institute). Field random inspections are carried out to ensure that the method is performed in the correct way and is of the expected quality.

Patents that make the DaKKI method unique
That the DaKKI method is of very high quality is due to interplay between choice of materials, tools design and the skilfulness of those that carry out the renovation work. We have protected our method by patenting part of the tools that are required in order to be able to carry out a renovation according to the DaKKI method.
